Kabaddi Player Development Pathway
A structured progression system that guides players from grassroots participation to district, state, and national-level competition through fair selection and continuous development.
Local Level
This is the foundation stage where players begin their competitive journey through schools, clubs, villages, and local tournaments. It focuses on basic skills, fitness, discipline, and match experience.
District Level
Top performers from local competitions are selected to represent their respective districts. Players compete in officially organized district championships under recognized kabaddi associations.
Divisional Level
District teams advance to divisional-level competitions, facing stronger opposition from multiple districts. This stage tests consistency, tactical awareness, and physical endurance.
State Level
Exceptional players earn selection for state-level tournaments and championships. Competition at this level follows higher standards, with increased exposure and talent scouting.
National Level
The highest level of competition, where state representatives compete on a national platform. Players gain national recognition and opportunities to progress into elite and professional kabaddi circuits.
